Learning at Harvard: Anywhere, Anytime.

Wireless Ethernet LAN Service is now available to the Harvard Community in a number of locations throughout Cambridge and Boston, bringing mobility to the workplace and academic life of students, faculty and administrators.

The Harvard Wireless LAN service utilizes the IEEE 802.11b wireless LAN standard and may be accessed by any mobile computing device equipped with a wireless LAN adapter that states its compatibility with the IEEE WiFi Ethernet standard.

Use of the network requires authentication utilizing Harvard University ID and PIN number or via a local school authentication server.

For more information on the University-wide Wireless LAN initiative, visit the CAIT Site or the school/department wireless web sites located on this page.
